Cantherone
Cantherone is a blistering agent isolated from a blistering beetle, and used in the treatment of warts applied by your dermatologist in the office. The intended goal is to cause blistering destruction of the wart. This medicine is applied by a Q-tip to the surface of every wart.
Cantherone should be washed off 1-2 hours after application. A brisk blistering agent should be expected. Failure to wash cantherone off may result in an overly excessive and painful blistering reaction. Treatments are repeated monthly.
